Small disturbances
SMALL DISTURBANCES investigates moments of quiet resistance, uncanny familiarity, and emotional interference - those barely perceptible shifts in form or meaning that dislodge comfort and demand renewed attention. The works offer reflections on both the personal and the political, the psychological and the formal, creating a space where the boundaries of normalcy are gently, yet deliberately, unsettled.
Works speak to the embodied experience of discomfort. These paintings reflect on what disturbs women - both internally and in the projections placed upon them - transforming personal reflection into a broader cultural commentary.
