Aleksandra Cegielska (b. 1985, Poland) is a Polish artist, curator and author based in Basel, Switzerland.
Working across painting, installation, textile, photography, moving image and text, her practice investigates the visual systems that shape identity, desire and value. Drawing from her background in branding and fashion, she appropriates the language of advertising, social media and consumer culture to reveal how bodies, emotions and labour become products within contemporary life.
Her recent work has shifted from representations of the body toward installations that examine infrastructures of care, visibility and belonging. Seriality, repetition and graphic immediacy recur throughout her practice, creating environments that function simultaneously as campaigns, archives and intimate diaries.
Alongside her artistic practice, Cegielska founded ELEVEN TEN STUDIO in Basel, an artist-run gallery dedicated to emerging contemporary artists, and EDITION ELEVEN, an independent publishing platform focusing on contemporary art and critical writing.
