Aleksandra Cegielska (b. 1985) is a Polish multidisciplinary artist, writer, and curator currently based in Basel, Switzerland. Her practice spans painting, sculpture, textiles, performance, and public art, grounded in feminist theory, personal narrative, and bold social commentary. Working at the intersection of fashion, advertising aesthetics, and activism, Cegielska's work interrogates systems of power, gender norms, and the commodification of identity - often with a fierce visual language steeped in irony, sarcasm, and unapologetic color.

During her studies at university, Cegielska gradually shifted her focus toward creative expression, ultimately finding a lasting voice in art. For over 15 years, she worked across multiple industries and countries - Egypt, Turkey, Poland, and Switzerland - primarily in marketing management. Simultaneously, she cultivated an artistic and fashion-focused practice, working as a stylist and visual creator. In 2014, she won the Grand Prix of the Prix de la Photographie Paris, taking Gold in the Advertising/Beauty category.

In the same year, she launched ELEVEN TEN STUDIO, a gender-neutral fashion brand exploring clothing as a medium of identity. However, after the transformative year of 2020 - marked by both global upheaval and personal reorientation - Cegielska pivoted fully toward contemporary art. Her art became a vessel to process, challenge, and transform collective and individual experiences of constraint.
