This bold textile sculpture, crafted in the shape of a vulva and adorned with feathers, sequins, and tulle, carries an empowering message: "Pleasure is all mine." It stands as a statement of reclaiming feminine pleasure and autonomy, affirming that women and girls alike can fully embrace their own desires and pursue pleasure without hesitation or apology.
Incorporating old linen bed covers, kitchen aprons, and delicate lace fabrics, the artist deliberately fused contrasting symbols to shed light on the multifaceted nature of women’s roles. By intertwining aprons, representative of traditional domestic responsibilities, with lace, often associated with intimacy, the artist aimed to provoke contemplation on the complex and sometimes contradictory ways in which society perceives women.

Women frequently find themselves assuming a subservient role in society, neglecting to pursue their own dreams or even discover what those dreams may be. From an early age, societal norms dictate the acquisition of domestic skills without inquiry into personal passions. In intimate scenarios, the norm becomes prioritizing partner desires over one’s own preferences.
The typical men's garments—shirts and blazers—are often symbols of position and status. They are worn by politicians, celebrities, and men of power to convey seriousness and professionalism. However, Aleksandra has chosen to transform these garments into her canvas, adorning them with protest slogans and vibrant depictions of vulvas. This is her statement against patriarchy and an instrumental step toward dismantling the outdated system. Just as an outdated piece of cloth, the old system must go.
